TIME OUT (Limited Edition #16 of 22) Print

INSPIRATION This was my first ever nude photograph! We were not going to sell it, but have decided to release it. I have always loved textures and it is important to me that the naked form should blend with the texture and not be the point of the image. THE PHOTOGRAPH This image is soft and gritty! I love how informal it is, hence why I have added a broken border to ensure no matter how formally it's framed the feel and style will shine through. Photographed along the Noosa River in Australia. This photograph has always been very popular in our Gallery and now it is released for sale, seems to be moving quite fast. I have about 9 pieces being released from this same model. MY WISH My wish is that people will tap into such a serene and peaceful scene and enjoy a certain calmness. I hope that people will see the beauty of nature in the landscape and not just a nude female. THE MEDIUM I am happy to supply this print on either metallic or German Art Rag depending on what collectors preferences are. The metallic offers a more modern approach for say a studio, but the Rag looks great for private galleries. I do not use Photoshop to adjust ANY composition. The image is real and true to the location, model and life! WHO My style is Raw, Gritty, Modest and quite Real! My name is David Hancock, I have worked in television for 30 years as a director / producer. My passion has always been great visuals and but now I have reached an age and stage where I want to shoot to be creative and not for money! I recently submitted 3 images to the International Black & White spiders awards received 2 honorable mentions 2 Nominations. Since releasing the start of my collection, we have been flattered by the response and I am amazed how quickly some series are going (or gone) I hope you enjoy my original works as we a launch onto Saatchiart.
