I used high contrast to abstract the details of the image and to stress the tension between the geometrical lines of the human interventions on the nature and the organic forms of the rivers. Through the use of a high contrast image treatment, I abstracted the forest - which became all black - and emphasized the human interventions on it. This series proposes a reflection on the future of the greatest forest of our planet, in a time when its destruction is at its highest rate.
