My wonderful children are grown now and I'm a proud Grandma. I've always loved brilliant colors and art. Working full-time did not allow me the time or energy needed to explore the world of art. I had to retire early from the "stressful rat race" due to having multiple strokes and other health concerns. Before my stroke, my sister and I wrote a series of children's books entitled, TukieTales. Over the years through the trials of life, I have learned to never give up and keep trying, otherwise failure is the only option. I try to concentrate on what I’m able to do, instead of what I can’t do anymore. Now, I have changed my direction once again. I am learning about art and the joy and comfort it gives to people. I consider this to be my next big adventure. The finished pieces are just the beginning of the next exciting stage in my life. Thank you so very much for your interest in my art. Follow your dreams.
