This jiggly image is at odds with its original construction. I conscientiously construct a hundred polygons, and lodge them into their own separate circles. That allowed me to tilt them down in accordance to the angles prescribed in a side view dictated by one of their Parent designs. Therefore, the progression is separated by decreasing degrees. This is a front elevation of the arrangement of a potentially infinite number of polygons with a Shared Point, a ‘sharp’. They each began with equal side lengths which got distorted as the shapes collapsed from a vertical triangle while proceeding through to a flattened circle. It is one of my favorites from my “Polygonum Progredi”. I depicted it in a monochromatic blue to suggest an airy, mirage, or watery distortion. Dealing with an infinite number of anything presents difficulties. Thickness of lines helps express an image, but also restricts its enjoyment. One way to quell the insatiable desire for more detail is to blur and distort an image - as in this case. I employed this effect decades after I created the original pencil drawing, by utilizing Photoshop filters in my computer. It was an answer to the more drastic measure of simplifying the image to only a handful of polygons. The answer is carefree, yet mysterious.
