About The Artwork
As a fashion graduate myself, nothing is more iconic than the runway show. This work was inspired by the fascination and mystique that captivated me then and still to this day. That deep sense of yearning for a garment, and the striving for another lifestyle. I hope the viewer feels the same nostalgic pull for a bygone era that seems so simple looking back, and I hope the minimalist composition and colour choices bring a calmness to all our hectic worlds. 50x70cm giclee artprint on 255g/m2 Somerset Velvet acid free paper.
