The theme of my artwork is dance and the connection between beauty and pain. As a child, I was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, experienced the rigor that is associated with sports activities at a professional level. In my opinion, art is inextricably linked with pain. Beauty is always associated with suffering, whether it is a physical act or pain in the hand during the eight hours of carving a single piece of large linocut. Since childhood, I have learned to express emotions through movement. Then, in the process of art education, I realized that the visual form is closer to my form of expression. "Dance" linocuts are a combination of both of these experiences. The “Dance” artwork is made in the technique of linocut on paper.
