The theme of my artwork is dance and the connection between beauty and pain. As a child, I was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, experienced the rigor that is associated with sports activities at a professional level. In my opinion, art is inextricably linked with pain. Beauty is always associated with suffering, whether it is a physical act or pain in the hand during the eight hours of carving a single piece of large linocut. Since childhood, I have learned to express emotions through movement. Then, in the process of art education, I realized that the visual form is closer to my form of expression. "Dance" linocuts are a combination of both of these experiences. The “Dance” artwork is made in the technique of linocut on paper. This artwork was presented at exhibitions: - 2021 - "1st Triennial of Painting, Graphics, sculpture of the Belarusian Union of Artists. Favorites" - „The Palace of Art” The National Gallery of Art, (Minsk, Belarus) - 2019 - 1st Triennial of Young Artists - „The Palace of Art” The National Gallery of Art, (Minsk, Belarus) - 2019 - “Lino-Lity” - Exhibition space “Sopoteka”, (Sopot, Poland) - 2019 - “Student’s Print of The Year” post-competition exhibition – Sztuka Wyboru Gallery, (Gdansk, Poland) - 2019 - 11th Bienale of Student Graphics “Revolt” - “Arsenał” Gallery, (Poznan, Poland) - 2018 - “Autumn salon with Belgazprombank” - „The Palace of Art” The National Gallery of Art, (Minsk, Belarus)
