Series 3 prints: rose, red, B&W. This series of engravings in etching was realized in 2008, when I was studying at "L'Atelier Contrapoint", under the supervision of the artist Juan Valladares. At his workshop I got acquainted with a special technique of color printing invented by the British engraver Stanley William Hayter. A specific feature of Hayter's technique is to treat independently each print out of the same die. Therefore each print can be considered as an original. I was interested in the technical procedure, not in the idea of printing in series. That's why at first I planned to have a print run of 10 copies for each artwork: an "artist proof" and 9 copies. However, circumstances forced me to stop my training, so I managed to make just some engravings.
