By a process of accumulating these empty tea bags on painted suggest a sculptural dimension to the work. This vulnerable material gives impression of moving, making sound. I deliberatly choose brown tones and in enhance these with ocre. This creates a symbiotic atmosphere through to the interplay of textures and paint.

My artistic practice reinterprets the place of abandoned materials, it has a monumental dimension, given the abondance through accumulation. Discarded fibers from produce in markets, on farms as well as materials founds on construction sites are at the heart of my work. I question our daily consumer habits concerning these ignored. The artistic revaluation of these materials questions the place of the object in a context of overconsumption.
