About The Artwork
This wall sculpture was inspired by leftover geometric shapes (from an installation). I wanted to use the shapes to build a 3 dimensional art piece that I could splatter multicolor paint on. This dimensional piece offered an me the opportunity to use a new technique were I disburse the paint from a squeeze bottle. When it was finished I coated the entire piece with several layers of resin which was impregnated with mica flakes (for sparkle). This piece has many layers of geometric shapes finished with a high gloss sparkling resin finish
