VIEW IN MY ROOM
Groups Regardless of where the legends of the sea come from, the East or the West, people have always been fascinated by the mystery of the deep sea. Similar to the animals on the land, there are all kinds of aquatic life forms which can either be hard-bodied or soft-bodied, aggressive or tame. The difference is that they live in a free kingdom, which is cleaner and quieter. Maybe there is shoal of naughty fish or a smack of jellyfishes, or bale of serious turtles. They, with their supple bodies, make abundant corals are looked more vivid and more colourful. Also, they touch the soul of the sea with their salty and bitter tears. Do they have tears? I do not know, but I envy the serene world they live in. Explorers: There is always a group of mystics who would like to explore all of mysterious things, otherwise we wouldn't have seen such diverse and colorful world.

China
Zora&Holly Fine Art Born in the Northwest of China and now living in Zhuhai, China, Mei Xiaohua (Holly) and Zora are both experienced at integrating and developing a variety of traditional Chinese-handicrafts. They commit themselves to promoting the traditional Chinese-handicrafts as Fine Arts. After years of exploration and practise, they have opened up a new world of soft-sculpture, forming their own unique style. Their art conveys a special atmosphere of Chinese authentics, which are elegant, free, natural and vivid - it gives people food for thought. ----------------------------- It is hard to explain the secret behind our work. When my mother and I first worked together to create these art works we could never have imagined the results. Our only wish is to share them with those among you who love art. Also, we feel our work has a sense of fulfilling a special destiny. A daughter who was once taught so many things by her mother now finds herself becoming the teacher. "The life" represents familial affection, with mother and daughter knitted together in perfect intimacy. Their life experience has shaped each other's stories. "Losing" brought a new meaning to our relationship. Now cherishing each other and what we have is at the foundation of our relationship. This life of ours spans several decades but is ultimately limited. Sometimes it seems so long and at other times it appears so very short. However, within this finite life, we strive to create a small world which can retain an eternal serenity. Zora&Holly Fine Art hope these small sculptures can bring all of you a brief moment of serenity. Zora
