ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The technique used to produce the porcelain recipe on the piece ''L'alpiniste'' is one unique to the artist. In fact, it's remarquable grainy surface recalls the one of marble fine. Inspired by a dear friend who almost died during a historic storm while attempting to climb the everest, the piece is an hommage to the biggest open sky cimetery in the world: the Everest. The subject is one particulary dear to the artist since her fiance is a professionnal climber as well. There is only one exemplary of this piece.
