I'm a self-taught artist who soon realized that artistic research is like a long journey whose destination is impossible to establish as you set off.

There are many elements governings our life; among them mistery and surprises. In my works it is on these that I try to envolve observers. By mistery I mean the unknown element of what has not been expressed: thoughts and emotions we never let on toward others or viceversa, what others never expressed toward us.
Moreover mistery may be understood as the not knowing about future events in our life, not only in the long run but also in our daily life. It is through the closed canvas rolls, present in my work that I hint to the concept of mistery. At the same time I want to stimulate their curiosity and have them travel with their imagination to find out what these rolls may hold; it could be an image, a colour, a word or a sentence.
By utilising open or partially open rolls I'm trying to introduce the surprise element: this is also a constant element in our lives.
We may be surprised by seeing or reading someting or by meeting unexpected new people or again by coincidences happened to us.
