'Wall (n°1)' Sculpture

(Born in Puglia in 1969; lives in Rome;Italy) I'm a self-taught artist who soon realized that artistic research is like a long journey whose destination is impossible to establish as you set off. As many of us my journey too started with figurative art. After a few years I started feeling unconfortable with canvas and paint-brushes... and, generally speaking, with two-dimensional expressions while feeling increasingly in sinc with three-dimensional spaces. So I set myself on a path of research looking for interactions between colours and forms, utilizing steel wires and flexible or rigid plastic bands; "Tensions", "Deflections", "Interruptions" and/or "Fragments" together with coloured parts are to be understood as my intellectual language.
