CAUSAL EFFECT

Sven Lorenz discussed in this photographic series unconscious behaviors. Behavior that always refer to an original action, so follow the cause / effect principle. Through these gestures are expressed and enshrined in the behavioral psychology. The large-format portraits of people show the protruding tongue as a subconscious reaction to a conflict. The photos show a layering of two different portraits. First portrait without a reaction - with closed mouth - and secondly, the portrait of the reaction, the accor stretch tongue. The works allow the viewer to guess at the causes and clarify in connection with the subject a proper understanding of the reaction shown.
