Saksala on the Rock
This series is inspired by the location I am living since 2003. The nature heritage Saksalanharju on the biggest monolith of Europe is a remarkable place for artists. The light, nature and atmosphere is intriguing.
The series exists of 49 small acrylic paintings, size 14x14 cm each, built with the same shapes in unlimited compositions. The colors are part of the annual passage of the sun in this nordic area.
