“Explosive patterns that reference textiles” The precise linear designs are influenced by my love of minimalist hard-edged abstraction but they are given a unique twist through the use maximalist colour and pattern. Unsupported dried paint is, as always, my material of choice and is often combined with metallic wallpapers to collage over the canvas.
