Trace of Beauty - November 2015

Juan got inspired by November and its powerful spectrum of colors. More than that, he was haunted by this peculiar month and painted a different fallen leaf every single day. The result is a deep exploration of the process that takes place as the leaves try to overcome their own deterioration, in a series of watercolors. It is a perfect metaphor of life and death: we cannot defeat the inexorable, yet, couldn’t we perceive it’s Trace of beauty? The artwork exposed is a tribute to this path.
