Contemplation

The full collection title reads ‘Contemplation – what do you think you can see?’ ‘Contemplation’ paintings range in their intensity from thunderously dramatic to cotton gloved softness. Some works may be more suggestive than others but the aim is that the viewer immerses themselves into the painting, spends time contemplating and finally allows themselves to express their vision. On a personal note the 'Contemplation' collection expresses a link between the thoughts stirred by a trip to Cuba and those I hope my paintings conjure in you the viewer.
