Often mistaken for being coloured paper, airbrushed or digital prints, my figurative works are in fact done all by hand in soft pastels sharing my adaptation of the models form, to expressing a feeling, or inspiration of my surroundings while still capturing the human form with elegance, simplicity, and strength... and sometimes humour, found in my portrait works. The numbers, as with my coastal works, are inspired by my surroundings, combined with what comes naturally to me during the creative process.
