Drawn Portraits
The drawn portraits show a series of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, Germany‘s most famous and important poet of the 19th century. She was very fond of nature themes, which is reflected in the illustrative elements. All portraits are based on busts of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, because there are hardly any surviving portrait photos or paintings of her.
My realization is very mystical and mysterious, which was also the approach that the poetess had to nature.
