EVERYTHING & NOTHING
In this nine-piece monochrome series called “EVERYTHING & NOTHING” Olena explores the intriguing duality of our nature – the connection between the inner world and outer reality, the layers of seen and unseen, the depth of perception.
The artist combines minimal geometric shapes, subtle textures and patterns inviting the viewers to come closer and explore the piece in which they discover various elements not noticeable from the distance, the patterns and textures of layered tissue paper create creases, folds and unveil more of this textured surface and inspire tactile experiences.
Each piece is an exploration of media and technique such as: matte acrylic paint, acrylic marker, collage, distressing, mark making, etc.
