Landscapes
The recent work of Carole Bressan deals with the landscape in all that it represents beyond aesthetics. She approaches the landscape as an “emotional territory”, like the echo of a feeling, a state of mind, a means of representing the whole range of emotions that can cross the human being. The ultimate technique used by the artist is that of colored juice. She covers her canvases with plaster, then works the roughness in flat areas or with a knife. Finally, she creates effects of transparency thanks to the colored juices, which give all the depth and intensity to her paintings.
