Liquid glass

This painting has been made in many different layers. I started with the collage of different (news)papers on canvas, and painted over that with acrylics and spray paint. Then i painted the face mainly with oil paint. After that i stretched the canvas over a box of wood and applied the first layer of resin, on which i painted again. The resin has been applied in 2 or 3 different layers, with paint. The result is a shiny flat surface, and the image seems to be sunken under water, with a 3D and HDR effect . Depending on light fall and perspective, the painting changes with reflections, brilliance and colors
