Modern Architecture in B&W

Paolo Salmaso's photographic project is characterized by suggestive architectural compositions captured in their structural entirety, where they are harmoniously immersed in a silent solitude. In addition to shapes, lines and geometries, Paolo Salmaso is instinctively attracted by the contrast that can be created, for this reason his shots are in black and white, especially with an eye to strong contrasts. On summer days when the sunlight is particularly intense and reflections on glass and steel are problematic for exposure, I can concentrate on hard shadows where they create contrasts where they are usually absent.
