DISCOVERY by Tom Miller

These paintings are a metaphor for the intense pleasure I feel when I discover a work of art which really speaks to me. The pleasure I feel is intense and always surprising. It is like opening a wonderful gift. And I truly feel that when artists create a work they are giving a gift of themselves to the world, a gift that will convey their thoughts and feelings long after the artist is gone.
