Nine Riders
A series of nine paintings. Conceptually, it deals with the consequences of human indifference, nihilism and the triumph of hope. The pictorial style of the work has its roots in the desire to show these symbols of disaster and misery as recognisable faces of humanity and not as external demons, or, as in the ninth rider, an apotheosis.
