Coney Island Love Affair

I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York and have lived in both Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn and Manhattan Beach Brooklyn which is just down the road from Coney Island with only Brighton Beach in between. I love the people who live there, work there and who visit. I think about all the history contained on this small stretch of land and feel honored to be a part of it whenever I'm there. My series, Coney Island Love Affair is an ongoing project of mine which I started in the summer of 2000. I can't think of a better way to spend a summer day in Brooklyn.
