Orchids

I fell in love with orchids only when I started to explore them with my Camera and lighting. It was winter and my birthday and the only nice and interesting flowers available were Lillies and orchids. So I spent all my money on orchids and locked myself happily up in the studio for next two weeks. Since then I see the white Phalaenopsis as an image of a total embrace. And I am fascinated by orchids for their frugality, persistence and their particular interaction with light. I hope you enjoy this collection!
