Water

'Water' is an ongoing investigation into the Sea and other places where water occurs. I am interested in studying the forms and patterns that water makes as it moves rapidly to meet the land or other objects, and how the light contributes to its qualities. I am interested in expressing the experience of being in the presence of the water over a period of time, observing how it constantly moves and changes. This suggests interesting questions of duration and the subtleties of changes. Instantaneous rapid shots of moving water can show forms that are unavailable to human vision, but long exposures can equally reveal something specific to photography.
