wet cement

This series came together during a particularly isolated and reckless period. Not long after moving to San Francisco, and with little money or direction, I took to the bars and quiet streets with my camera in hand. Most of the photographs are shot in the early hours of the morning when my courage was high and subjects more amiable. What took shape was a document of loneliness, solitude and strangers taking comfort in one another.
