About The Artwork
In these collages are an intermediate phase between the inside of a building and the outside, a state between construction, reconstruction and deconstruction. Reflecting the influence of Gordon Matt Clark, and inspired by the modernistic Cumbernauld Megastructure in Scotland from the 1960s, these works are scale models of hopeful, utopian visions that took a different direction when exercised in reality.
