ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Abstract guitar collage inspired by Picasso’s work of a similar nature in 1912 This picture is built up with re-used brown paper as a base followed by the addition of cardboard pieces that then enhanced by the addition of vintage papers sourced from across the globe. The vintage papers include clippings from Italian magazines from the 1920s, Russian sheet music from the early 20th century, French posters from the 1950s and Spanish legal documents from the turn of the 19th century.
