About The Artwork
Nature and flora in greek woods inspired "Greek Forest". It represents the harmony between trees, leaves, flowers and seeds. The seven big circles, are incisions of wood by Cherry Plum (Prunus Pseudarmeniaca) and the seven smaller ones are incisions of wood by Beech tree (Fagus orientalis). There are also three big red leaves from Grapevine, twenty green leaves of Kermes Oak, one triplex Strawberry leaf, six flowers of Cowslip (Primula) and some other leaves, seeds and flowers. Finaly there is ink and some pieces of stamps.
