About The Artwork

"How do the tears smell?" is a photography of a collage which I made previously with real rose petals. When I've witnessed the rose's "tears" in the spring twilight garden, they evoked a poem together with the idea of the artwork. I consider the shot as final art piece, as it catches the fleetingness of an instant like the falling petals and the tears. The collage was just a tool for the realization of the art piece. How do the tears smell? Sometimes they smell like rain in June, sometimes like recently extinguished candles sometimes their fragrance is like a waterfall of words which with the intonation changes. Sometimes they are bitter, they sting, they bite ripping a heart cry through the eyes. Sometimes as wounded pearls they roll and a thick string - noose around the neck they close. Sometimes they are a storm that blows you away and you just don't want to be there. Sometimes they are big and rare - in two drops all the oceans concentrate. Sometimes they are quiet, pale and softly in a pure love they fade. Original Limited Edition. Giclèe print on Fine Art paper 310g/m. Signed certificate of authenticity included. The limited edition print will be sent together with the poem stamped on parchment and signed. N.B. Printed with white border.

Bulgarian born artist based in Florence, Italy. The founder of the project Atelierseptem which is my constant search of expressive means united through various artistic disciplines. My unique wearable art pieces, textile art, raw painting, sculpture, photography, poetry, art&video installations are linked to each other, as parts of the whole process of creation. They can live and exist separately, they can be contextualized and decontextualized, but they are born in order to communicate a multidimensional mental and emotional exploration of an entire whole. My art - heARTbeat - the mother tongue of life is not an unconventional interpretation of a single word, it is the core of my activity. It pulsates through the oldest language in its most primary form - the root of all languages - the language of the heart. It's an inexplicable urge for existence. It is a magic, deep understanding without any need of proof. It's about seeing the unseen or hear the voice of silence, it's about the ability to recognize instinctively all that is authentic. It is primitive as our physical nature and beyond the limits of time as our spirit. It is charged with lots of symbols created in a spontaneous, often subconscious way, that’s why its meaning is perceptible as the soul is. As a winner of Sony Mobile contest "Lifeframes" I participated in the first world smartphone photographic exhibition curated by Steve McCurry, Milan, 2013. My wearable art pieces and artworks are owned by private collectors.
