The series "I Won't Forget You" uses photographs found in op shops, flea markets, and second-hand stores. I Carefully cut them and placed in contemporary compositions using color papers in order to make this original collage. Framed (40cmsx50cms). My core point is to extend the deep desire to be remembered, implicit in every single portrait. Inspired by the craft, hand-labor, and creative efforts developed during the XIX and XX centuries to enhance photographs as memory objects, I have spent time transforming these almost faded photographs into elaborated bright objects. By cutting, decorating, and arranging them into new compositions, full of intense colors, I am attempting to create a contemporary way to "not forget them".
