ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hand cutter collage as static animation. When I studied illustration and animation, I liked Disney especially. I was amazed to know that Disney got inspiration in ballet. Starting working with the collage techniques, I realized that the mosaic approach allows me to create an illustration in movement. You can find four transits in this work. I like to take inspiration in the actions of athletes and dancers. The human brain firstly read a shape. Identifying different parts, our brain tends to create one silhouette. Connecting several silhouettes, we see static animation. Collage requires imagination, analysis and gives ample space for creativity.
