Javier Triviño Murillo lives and works in Berlin. He was born in 1985 in Arrasate, Spain. He received his degree in Graphic Design from ESDIR School of Art and Design, Logroño, Spain (2011). He made his first solo exhibition, at La Lonja Gallery, Logroño, Spain (2017) and he have been included in several group shows in Northern Spain. His drawings and comics explore a black-white imaginary of shadows and empty spaces in which the faces of longing and loss emerge as narratives of love. In his paintings, using plain colors, the possibility of new forms appear to be linked to the loss of sense itself. The aesthetics of graffiti and symbols have an important influence on Triviño Murillo’s development as an artist: first in the grounding career as graphic designer and then in his more personal work.
