About The Artwork
I dedicate my research works on the physical resistance of flexible materials as cardboard, paper and textile through sculptural collages and installations. All my plastic project focuses on the idea of packaging in its allegorical meaning of " ornament ", but more specifically revolves around its paradoxes : recycled materials are alternately a cocoon announcing the birth, the plastic ecstasy of a metamorphosis, or a lure capable of modifying the identity by a change of shape. SERIE SHROUDS : Skins of material This artwork expresses the nature of things and of their metamorphosis, in its exuberance and its fragility. The material is sublimated, wether dressed in a thick skin of color or hardly brushed by a veil of light which discreetly reveals harshness and scars..

After having worked for a long time on the colour considered as a second skin which socializes the matter, Valerie Telesca anchors her approach to the matter in an identity dimension : that of the nature of things and of their metamorphosis, in its exuberance and its fragility.. All her research works are realized within the framework of the movement " ENERGY TRACKS ": International group of art experimentation).
