About The Artwork

Samsāra is a Buddhist term that means continuous movement, translated as 'cyclic existence.' Within Buddhism, samsara is defined as the repetitive cycle of birth and death that arises from grasping and fixating on the idea of the self and it’s experiences. Samsara calling is about the promise of all the beauty and pleasures of the material world behind which stands the void. Some of the flowers and leaves on this painting are collaged onto the painting. (This piece has a gloss black frame)

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

My illustrative paintings seek to present the world of impermanence and fleeting beauty. By combining iconic Art Deco design elements with Japanese and Korean motifs, I hope to lift the viewer into a contemplative world, rich in colour, texture and emotion. I have lived and travelled extensively in the far east. I studied Fine Art at Central St Martins School of Art and Design. I also studied at the design school Ecole Nationale Superieure de Arts Decoratifs in Paris. I am also interested in the role of aesthetics in political culture.
