Swans are birds of the family Anatidae within the genus Cygnus.[3] The swans' close relatives include the geese and ducks. Swans are grouped with the closely related geese in the subfamily Anserinae where they form the tribe Cygnini. Sometimes, they are considered a distinct subfamily, Cygninae. There are six or seven living (and one extinct) species of swan in the genus Cygnus; in addition, there is another species known as the coscoroba swan, although this species is no longer considered one of the true swans. Swans usually mate for life, although “divorce” sometimes occurs, particularly following nesting failure, and if a mate dies, the remaining swan will take up with another. The number of eggs in each clutch ranges from three to eight.[4]

Javier Triviño Murillo lives and works in Berlin. He was born in 1985 in Arrasate, Spain. He received his degree in Graphic Design from ESDIR School of Art and Design, Logroño, Spain (2011). He made his first solo exhibition, at La Lonja Gallery, Logroño, Spain (2017) and he have been included in several group shows in Northern Spain. His drawings and comics explore a black-white imaginary of shadows and empty spaces in which the faces of longing and loss emerge as narratives of love. In his paintings, using plain colors, the possibility of new forms appear to be linked to the loss of sense itself. The aesthetics of graffiti and symbols have an important influence on Triviño Murillo’s development as an artist: first in the grounding career as graphic designer and then in his more personal work.
