About The Artwork
It is said that all life on earth is created from the matter of long-dead stars. This abstract dreamscape is composed of a hand-marbled paper collage motif on a painterly canvas background. The sealife-cloudlike form is composed of hard-edged geometry and drippy, leggy tendrils. The visual juxtaposition recalls the aesthetic parallels found between deep marine life and scifi creatures. The muted color palette includes grays and blues. Gold leaf spore-like details reference the star stuff that permeates everything. Gallery wrap deep edge canvas is ready to hang as is with exposed edges revealing the artistic process or can be framed by the collector. Signed on the back.
