This work belongs to Citizens of Nowhere, a series I am creating about citizenship, nationhood and all the challenges of staying patriotic in a corrupt system and country. The very sense of identity is lost on one, as that identity seems to be the very thing that brings a lot of tension in the country. One has a sense of being an outsider in the scheme of things, living on the fringes of existence, robbed of the sense of dignity, of one's very soul and humanity. There is a silent majority that has been forced to submission, beaten to a complacent existence that accepts all the injustices, the crime, and corruption. Those that would have represented them are in positions of power for selfish reasons.
