ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work was inspired by the particular shape of the pieces wood collected in nature from an Agave's wood, the american plant. I decided to create a figurative collage using wood and gesso on table.The layer of the epoxy resin allowed me to make the material valuable and well protected. Dimensions with passpartout: 28x40,5 cm. Collage on 1 cm thick board, applied on a white board that acts as a passpartout. My aim is to communicate the beauty of nature, through the meticulous observation of the wooden surfaces I use.

In 2011, following a long period immersed in nature, I created a line of handcrafted jewels that embody a part of that great beauty that nature offers us.From the beginning I noticed how the dry leaves of the Agave plant were particularly fascinating, unique in their kind.Although in its raw state and no longer green, every single leaf has spots, streaks and microscopic marks on the surface that recall a small abstract painting, each time unpredictable and original.
