This artwork "Waiting for the date" is a hilarious collage about what sees the girl in the mirror before going on a date. I think, looking at this work, every girl will remember a similar incident from her life. Before dating, we all worry, arrange fittings, change dress for thousand times to choose the best look. We put on makeup, then, as luck would have it, the hand twitches treacherously when the eyeliner slides over the eyelid - and you can wash your face and start all over again. We study in detail everything that can be learned about a guy before the first date: what kind of music he loves, what books he reads, what else he is interested in, with whom he was in love and so on. So I put a bookcase on the collage - this is my ironic interpretation of the "dossier" on the future boyfriend. And now, a minute before leaving the house, we look in the mirror. And instead of the reflection, there are spinning around pictures of the last few hours spent preparing for the date. This collage also features a real champagne cork.
