I was born in Turin where I later graduated from the First Artistic High School; from childhood, however, I moved between this city and Aosta where I still live and work. The sense of discontinuity given by frequent transfers, such as also the lack of a feeling of belonging to a given place, gives rise to the need to create a place in which to find refuge. Through the printed image and a technique I devised that for now I will call layering, extrapolating colors and details, overlapping them several times to make the material image. I recreate my own language, rework real, dreamlike or imaginary experiences. Finding my space in the world. Each painting is a fragment of Simonetta that is solved, as if it were a puzzle piece that finds its place; an intimate story, which is composed and it transfigures during the creative path
