There is a legend about the 24 pilgrims in the Buddhist tradition. These 24 pilgrims are called the '24 Holy Pilgrims' and are associated with worship at sacred places related to Buddha Shakyamuni. The legend is based on ancient Buddhist texts and traditions. According to this legend, Buddha Shakyamuni predicts that after his death, certain places related to his life and teachings will be visited by 24 holy pilgrims before his next incarnation (Buddha Maitreya). These places, known as the '24 Holy Sites' (or '24 Holy Pilgrimage Sites'), are located in various parts of the world and are objects of worship and pilgrimage for Buddhists. The luminous images of the 24 Buddhas are considered ideal objects for meditation. In some traditions, meditation on them has been used to develop spiritual understanding and liberation. According to these traditions, each of these Buddhas appears in specific temporal epochs, before the life of Buddha Shakyamuni, or can be perceived as a specific aspect of Shakyamuni. Tibetan Buddhism, like other forms of Buddhism, uses colors and symbols to represent different aspects of spiritual reality. In this context, the olive green color can be associated with humility and spiritual understanding. The orange and golden color in the clothing of the pilgrims holds special significance. Orange is associated with the monastic life and spirituality in many Buddhist traditions. Golden color carries significance and symbolizes wealth, divinity, and spiritual enlightenment. In the Buddhist tradition, the legend of the 24 Holy Pilgrims is usually associated with meditative and spiritual practices, rather than real physical travels. These images of the pilgrims serve as objects of meditation and visualization for Buddhists who wish to focus on their spiritual practice. These 24 Buddhas, after the death of Buddha Shakyamuni, manifest in different temporal epochs before and after him, providing teachings and guidance to their followers.

Artist: Hoshi Neko "I would utilize any technique that allows for better visualization of the idea. My concepts revolve somewhere in the cosmos, blending theories from quantum physics, science, and fiction. That's why I prefer to work digitally. I draw, photograph, blend generative and fractal art to achieve what I like. Small formats are moments; large ones are states. I enjoy generative, algorithmic, and fractal art, but I always have the final say. I refine and develop the idea. Ideas that I want to bring to life in virtual spaces. They're still a bit sluggish for now! My style is Abstract, Fantasy, Other Space, Science/Technology."
