From the series "Unfinished/ Finished" - Unfinished paintings by famous artists are finished, finally for now, maybe.... Thomas Eakins (American, 1844–1916) unfinished this painting in 1884. Shortly thereafter, the model, Mrs. John A. Streisand, became the first person ever to receive plastic surgery. She implored Thomas to repaint her portrait with her new face but he refused and died shortly thereafter. She contacted me in a dream and here is the finished painting. Inkjet-printed with archival pigment inks - 100% cotton, Acid-free, pH-neutral Fine Art paper - Estimated turnaround time of 3-5 Days - Shipping included directly from the printer Ink drawing, pencil and collage elements are integrated in a digital environment with digital painting/ drawing. Representational/ realistic and non representational/ abstract images flow from one to the other, gradually or abruptly, in an undefined space.
