About The Artwork
I made this drawing after much needed rain. Living in Los Angeles we really appreciate our raining days hoping we will receive enough before our summer arrives. I especially love looking up and seeing the beautiful cloud formations with the shift in color. I made this drawing in my studio, using oil pastels on grey canson paper working to capture what I’m feeling after looking at a rain storm. Using strong expressive lines, color and form to create movement across the page with etheral light.
