About The Artwork
Arch Downtown Amman Arch, Amman, Jordan 2017 Created during my 4 years living in this fascinating country, Jordan. My strongest impressions of Amman are narrow streets, connected by lines of stairs passing through the arches. The prospect of the streets seen in the arches is inviting to exploring, walking inside, look into them getting acquainted with a new culture, enjoying unexpected discoveries. Most of the works in this series are made on cardboard, an ideal material to convey the unique color and texture of this city. I had to include them in my project “Tranzit ". This work was performed on the cardboard box that we used to move to our next country destination. I wanted to mark the beginning of a new stage with the first impression of the cities in which we found ourselves at that particular moment of life. Some kind of diary of an empty box keeps memories and fragile feelings. Very unique in a really nice texture. Two coats of protective mate varnish are applied to protect the drawing from UV rays and dust. Two coats of protective mate varnish are applied to protect the painting from UV rays and dust.

Full-time nomad artist, graphic designer, printmaking expert, who has lived and worked in different countries. She currently based in Madrid, Spain, where she has her own studio. Natasha is a multidisciplinary artist working with various techniques from traditional to experimental, combining common raw materials of everyday life such as cardboards and pizza boxes. She also works in the technique of mixed media, using watercolor, ink, acrylic, charcoаl, collage… Her strong passion is graphic art and, as a printmaking artist, she does lithograph on different surfaces, constantly studying and improving her skills. Her living style with frequent moving from country to country has a huge influence on her art, very inspired in different cultures, cities, and peoples. Her urban landscapes show that strong emotional connection with the place she is living in that moment in time. Her motivation is to look for new effects, a new look at the expression of ideas, harmonious combinations of colors, shapes, a rhythm that cannot be repeated. Always looking ahead and going her own way.
