Part of a series of drawings and inks depicting Patagonic Mapuche culture and rituals. This one was drawn in 1977 and it portrays a Choike purrún dancer. Choike purrun is the name given to a dance performed in Nguillatun prayer ritual that imitates movements and ways of the Choike, a giant native bird similar to an ostrich.
